Postpartum PiYO Progress

Well folks, here it is!

((deep breaths))

If you remember, a few weeks back I started working out with PiYO! I was 3 weeks postpartum then, and now I'm here -- 2 months postpartum.

These are actually pretty hard for me to post. I look at this picture and I SEE:

The time (or 27) I strayed from my meal plan.
I remember the reps I rested through  instead of pushed through.
I see my "stubborn" areas where I still want to make progress.
I see imperfection.

And I see a woman.
A woman who has fluctuated over 200 lbs the last four years. (Truth)
I see a woman who pushed play when she was sore.
A woman who has birthed three sweet little babes.
I see a woman who has taken time to learn about how to appreciate (and take care of) her body.

I've learned a lot in my journey -- and one of the things I've learned is that your journey is not about where you start. Your journey is about where your refuse to stay.  It's about where you are going. It's about trying again.

You may have noticed I've been posting a lot of blogs with recipes lately, and that is because one of the   biggest areas I've improved in is nutrition.

And if you haven't heard yet... NUTRITION. IS. KEY.

But it's hard. It's hard because it takes time to learn. It takes some patience. It takes someone helping you.

The combination of working out (at home, with my kiddos!) and changing my nutrition has made all the difference!  I've recovered more quickly from pregnancy/birthing, I've felt more stable emotionally, more flexible physically, stronger, more toned and more confident.

If you're interested in hearing more about how I've changed my nutrition, getting specific recipes, daily encouragement -- and most importantly in joining a group of supportive people that know how to help, consider joining me
