How To Tell If You Need A Reset

What if I told you that the way you have learned to live is incorrect?

Life isn't meant to be what it is currently.

Now, hear me out. I'm not talking politics, morals or beliefs here.

I'm talking science. 

What if I told you that the fatigue, soreness, moodiness and cravings are not how we are designed? Our bodies are impressive machines. We aren't designed to live our whole lives with a "bad back" or hooked up to a caffeine IV. We aren't supposed to be depressed, feel anxious or exhausted. We aren't meant to be dealing with heart failure, cardiac diseases and diabetes.

Are you functioning optimally? Read on, and see if you experience any of the following symptoms:



1. You are bloated. 
     Ladies, I'm not talking about that kind of bloated. I'm talking about the kind that comes from every meal. The kind that makes your pants feel uncomfortable just from eating a light lunch. Something is going on here that shouldn't be. You need a reset. 

2. You're tired.  
     When our bodies aren't working right, we go into over-drive trying to correct something. Chances are, your body isn't able to fix whats wrong, because you keep feeding it the incorrect things. So your body is constantly fighting a battle with...you. And it. is. exhausting. We have adopted this "tiredness" as common, and we've learned to function with it. But let me tell you, if you aren't waking up everyday feeling rested something is wrong. You need a reset.

3. Cravings. 
    If you feel an urge to snack at midnight, or eat an entire package of cookies -- you need a reset.  We've accepted thesecravings as "normal" and even laughable -- but let me tell you that is not how your body is set to function! If you feel like you need sugar, caffeine, fatty/greasy foods -- a reset is for you!

4. Muscle Aches/Pain. 
     Back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain... it seems like everyone has adjusted to some sort of "pain" in their body that is not related to the soreness of exercise. It shouldn't surprise you that 9 times out of 10 -- this pain is a result of poor nutrition. Your body is not getting what it needs! You need a reset. 

5. Issues with your skin. 
     Dry. Itchy. Frequent acne. Again, it should come as no surprise  that your skin is commonly a reflection of how well nourished you are. If you aren't eating right, your body is trying to rid itself of toxins (acne), or hydrate itself from stored moisture (dry, itchy!). You're undernourished and dehydrated. You need a reset.

6. Improve your mood. 
     What we eat (and don't eat) affects the chemicals in our body. The chemicals in our body help us to regulate our mood and general thinking abilities. If you can't focus or feel like you can't get a handle on how you feel, it could be because you aren't feeding your body the right things. You need a reset. 

7. Improve your health. 
     All the things listed above have to do with your health, but lets look at things like blood sugars, cholesterol, overall weight and function of organs. When you are nourishing with fatty, greasy, sugary foods -- all of those things are going to be negative or, at the very least, in a declining state. It isn't too late to turn it around! When you start to give your body the right things, your body begins to work for you instead of against you. If you are experiencing troubling blood results or the onset of diabetes -- a reset could be just the thing you need to help start turning things around!

We are meant to function without daily pain. We are supposed to spring out of bed in the morning, excited for the day!
